THE GINZILLA: THE ULTIMATE GIN EXPERIENCE
TIMES: CONTACT US
Max: 10 guests (complimentary snacks included) per group
Hosted by: Ali
Duration: 2 hours
Exclusively available at The Gin Library
The Ginzilla is one of the largest cocktails in the world, and maybe even the largest available gin and tonic in the world. Born in the spring of 2020, The Ginzilla is a 5 litre / 170-ounce monster gin and tonic – the equivalent of around 25 standard drinks. Served in a copper jug, it is designed to be shared by several people.
During your visit to The Gin Library, host and Gin expert Ali Bullock will prepare your Ginzilla for you to enjoy. We’ll talk about the history of gin and how to make the perfect G&T at home.
The Ginzilla is inspired by the tiki drinks originating from the islands of Hawaii and now seen in tiki-themed bars across the world.
If you love gin, and you have a slightly unhealthy obsession with discovering new things booze-related, the Ginzilla is for you. This drink is one to be enjoyed on the patio of The Gin Library with friends as the sun goes down, looking across green fields to the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
You can book a tasting here. Transport can be arranged to and from The Gin Library (at additional cost). Please enjoy this experience responsibly and don’t drink and drive.Check out Ginzillas in the wild on our Instagram here or follow them by using #TheGinzilla
Gin library: If the house has guests staying, the library may not be available, and we will host the tasting in another location on the estate
Transport: This experience involves alcohol. Please consider a designated driver or book a taxi
The Gin Library: Child Policy
Children are not allowed in The Gin Library. If you wish to bring children to an experience, we can organise a private event for you with a tile painting included. This means you can enjoy your Gin & Tonics in peace, and the children are entertained. After all, parents need a holiday as well. Please contact us in advance here to arrange an available time slot. The above experience applies to the Azorean & Portuguese tasting only.
