THE RUIN | BOOK NOW
This 2 storey cottage was an abandoned farm building that stood as a ruin for several decades before being thoughtfully brought back to life. It stands alone to the west of the main house and has a total area of 60sqm.
Built in volcano stone, it is a very Azorean style building. The entrance is on the upper floor, with an open plan lounge and kitchenette. This room has a huge south facing window, framing the sweeping views of the countryside and ocean beyond.
THE WHALE SUITE | BOOK NOW
The Whale Suite is the largest room in the main house, with a total area of 52sqm. The generous open plan bedroom and lounge has 2 south facing windows, with views of the green hills and Atlantic Ocean beyond.
A 180cm (6 foot) wide king size bed awaits you, with a sumptuous mattress made from all-natural material, and luxury cotton bed linen, to help regulate body temperature and ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.
THE OLD LIBRARY | BOOK NOW
As the name suggests, this was previously a much loved private library. A dual aspect, corner room with views to the east and south, with the Atlantic Ocean visible from both directions. Early risers will be rewarded with spectacular sunset views.

SOUTH SUITE | BOOK NOW
A light and bright room, with views to the south, with the Atlantic Ocean visible beyond the green hills.

NORTH SUITE | BOOK NOW
The North Suite faces the countryside, with views from 2 windows of farmland, villages and hills of the interior of the island. The room has high ceilings typical of grand houses in the 1800s.

THE BARN | BOOK NOW
The Barn is a 2 storey cottage built on the site that previously housed an old farmyard storage shed.
The Barn is to the east of the main house and is the first in a row of 3 cottages (the other 2 are the West Pigsty and East Pigsty). It has a total area of 42sqm. Externally the upper part of the building is clad in white-washed wood panels, and the lower part in volcanic stone tiles.
PIGSTY EAST | BOOK NOW
The Pigsties take their name from the stone pig pens that previously occupied the site they are built on.
The Pigsties are to the east of the main house and are part of a row of 3 cottages (the other one is The Barn). Each has a total area of 42sqm. Externally the upper part of the building is clad in white-washed wood panels, and the lower part in volcanic stone tiles.
