Here at the Solar Branco Eco Estate, we have a goal to plant 10,000 trees by 2022 helping these lands return to their former glory. With such a beautiful green space and landscape we organise a quarterly gardening themed meet-up, where residents of Sao Miguel are welcome to bring seeds, plants, cuttings, chickens or eggs (anything food-related) to swap or sell. This is a personal event run by Ali Bullock. Funds raised will help to support community Christmas events including activities benefitting the Casa Do Gaiato (Ponta Delgada Children’s Home).
