One of the most iconic and famous fruits from the Azores is the Pineapple or Ananas in Portuguese. Grown over 2 years in greenhouses, these fruits are only grown on these islands and are completely different in taste to pineapples that you will have tasted in your own country.
And with such an iconic island fruit, there is only one thing to do, and that is to infuse it into our in-house gin. The result is a smooth, very subtle sweet essence of pineapple. Perfect for a summer day here on the estate, with the cooling Atlantic breeze on your face as you look out to green hills and the Atlantic ocean beyond.
